Yin yoga is a quiet, meditative practice that consists of passive, long-held poses that target the connective tissues of the body. Yin yoga provides balance to your active (yang) life. This class is an opportunity to slow down, find stillness, and rest/surrender deeply. Most poses are practiced on the floor and are held for 3-5 minutes. Modifications, variations, and prop suggestions are offered for each pose. This gentle and relaxing class is suitable for all levels of practitioners.
