Megan discovered her true passion for yoga and the yoga community at the first I AM Yoga Festival in 2010 while practicing with many who would ultimately become her mentors. In the summer of 2012, she set a one and a half year goal to earn her yoga teacher certification. Staying on target she earned her Baptiste-inspired 200-hour yoga alliance certification in early 2014. Megan is inspired daily by the practice of yoga - the breath, body awareness, practice of compassion, forgiveness, and surrender. She wants to share those inspirations through her classes while continually learning and growing within her own practice along side fellow yogis. Megan strives to have you feeling empowered and more connected to your truest self as well as your community. When she’s not teaching yoga, taking yoga classes/workshops or reading about yoga, Megan can be found hanging out with her cat, working at Elote Cafe and Catering, or attempting to cook delicious and healthful food with her family.
