Beverly Vaughn

After living on five acres south of Inola since 1989 I made a move to Tulsa in March of 2014. Working with horses and not using my body correctly put me in the position of requiring back surgery for disc repair and later still for shoulder surgery. Needing to regain balance and strength in my life I started Yoga classes with Lisa Bracken at the Canebrake in Wagoner. After experiencing the wonderful benefits of a regular practice I was determined to pass this gift of health on to others. In November of 2012 I received my CYT 200 from the Arkansas Yoga Center in Fayetteville, AR. My training continues as I eagerly attend workshops and clinics. In January of 2013 I went to Watsonville, CA. for 22 hours of training with Judith Lasater and in 2015 I spent eight days in New Orleans at a Bahkti Yoga emersion with Sean Johnson and the Wild Lotus Band. I am committed to continued education and the well being of my students. Trauma informed yoga therapy methodology certification in 2017 added a new layer of kindness to my teaching.
