We have moved to a ground level location with amazing parking (44th Peoria, just one mile south). Our studio offers a wide variety of classes throughout the day, seven days a week. The Yoga Room was one of the original yoga studios in Tulsa, opening on Brookside in 2001. Our diverse community welcomes all levels and we love beginners!

Beginner Level Class Recommendations

Here are our recommendations for attending beginner level classes while you are spending your month with us.

Sunday, 1-2:30p.m Restorative Yoga:  enjoy a restorative, deeply relaxing hour and half with Rebecca on the day of rest, Sunday. perfect!

Sunday, 4:15p.m Raven Yoga for Freedom:   Need a shift? Beginner poses, inspirational language, come and transform.

Monday-Friday 6:15am-7:15a.m Spiritual Sunrise:  Join us 5 days a week for a mellow stretch, strengthen, day-preparer for your mind, body and soul.

Monday 4:30-5:30p.m Breathe & Move Flow This is not one of the easier Beginner classes but it is a beginner flow class for those wanted to experience Vinyasa (movement to breath).

 Monday 7-8p.m Soft Stretch:  the best way to end a busy Monday.  Candles surround the room, music is soft, stress melts away as soon as you enter. Light stretches, easy postures.

Tuesday, 7:30-8:30a.m  Mindful Movement:  Set your body up for healthy movement and tension free sitting (at a desk) with this all levels functional posture class. 

Tuesday, 5:45-6:45p.m Soulful Gentle Flow:  Dark room, light music, gentle poses.  Be kind to yourself, unravel here. 

Tuesday, 7:00-8:00p.m Candlelight Soft Stretch:  Candles surround the room, music is soft, stress melts away as soon as you enter. Light stretches, easy postures.

Wednesday, 9:30-10:45a.m Kundalini:  sit, breath, activate, get inspired, learn to fall in love with your body and life. 

Wednesday, 11:15-12:15p.m:  Restorative Yoga:  Take a quick break right in the middle of the week to restore and re-balance the body, mind and spirit. 

Wednesday, 4:00-5:15p.m Beginner Iyengar:  Structure, alignment and precision. If you are a Type A learner, this is your class. All ages are welcome but the mean age is 55. 

Wednesday, 5:45-6:45p.m Soft Stretch:  Easy, quiet, relaxed, yes.

Wednesday, 7:15p.m Beginner Drum Circle $10 drop in if you bring a friend without a pass. Bring a drum or use one of ours. 

Thursday, 10:30-11:30a.m. Restore & Recover: Enjoy a quick relaxer class with stretching, breathing and restoring. 

Thursday, 7:00-8:00p.m Kundalini Yin/Sound Healing : All levels can appreciate the healing effect of the gong, crystal bowls and chimes. Bring your open heart and receive. Simple breathing techniques are led. 

Friday, 9:30-10:45a.m Gentle Soulful Flow: Slow flow, soft class with so much soul. 

Saturday, 8:15a.m-9:15a.m Healthy Movement  Holly knows all the tricks to help you with posture, back pain and alignment. Bring your co-workers, anyone who sits at a desk needs this class.

Saturday, 12:30p.m-1:45p.m Kundalini Yin/Sound Healing:   Kundalini Yin/Sound Healing : All levels can appreciate the healing effect of the gong, crystal bowls and chimes. Bring your open heart and receive. Simple breathing techniques are led.  Also, this class is great for beginners to learn stress-relieving breathing techniques and empowering postures-also welcome Prenatal yogi mamas!
